Does Area Rugs World have a storefront I can visit?
No, we do not have a storefront.
Can I cancel my order?
Orders can be cancelled if they have not been processed in our ordering system. Should you want to cancel your order contact us via email, telephone or live chat and we will gladly cancel your order. In case your order has already been processed, Area Rugs World offers a 30-day return policy on all their products. Contact us for more info.
Can I change my order?
Yes you can, as long as we haven't processed your order. To find out if you can send us an email at email@example.com or get in touch with us via phone or live chat. We'll do our best to change your order. If however, your order has been processed use our 30-day return and return the rug and we'll send you a new one.
After I've placed my order, how long before I receive my new rug?
If the rug you have chosen is in stock, the order will be delivered to you in 5-7 business days. If your rug is out of stock, contact us and we'll give you an estimate on when the rug will be back in stock.
How accurate are the colors on your website?
We make sure the pictures on our website best reflect the actual rug in terms of color, size, texture, and pile height. However, bear in mind that colors may vary depending on the light and camera used.
How accurate are the sizes?
The sizes appearing next to the product are as accurate as we can get. It is important to note that sometimes the size of a rug can vary up to 5% from the size listed. Should there be a bigger size difference please contact us by email, phone or via live chat.
How do I take care for my rug?
We've put together a detailed guide for care instructions and rug cleaning. Here are some quick tips to get you started. Try not to vacuum too often, if you do make sure your vacuum doesn't have a beater bar. Rotate it once a year if the rug is in a sunny place to even out the color. In case of spills, blot with a white cloth to remove all excess liquid.

Depending on the quality and the material of your rug, some rugs may shed.

Shipping to the USA is on us if your order is greater than $99.
Is the shipping free?
Yes, if you are located in the US and if your order is more than $99 then the shipping is free of charge. If you are located outside the US we suggest you contact us via email, phone or via live chat to check shipping options.
Where will my rug be delivered?
Area rugs world offers a Door-to-Door delivery service. The rug will be delivered right to the address you have provided in your order. Should you need to make any changes to the delivery please contact us via email, phone or live chat.
Can I place an order to be shipped to an international address?
Yes, if you are located outside of the US you can place an order and we will ship your rug to you. If you are located outside the US we suggest you contact us via email, phone or via live chat to check shipping options.
Can I add expedited shipping for my order?
Yes you can. To ensure that we do process your order with expedited shipping give us a call, email us or contact us via live chat.
How will you ship my item?
Our products are usually shipped via UPS or FedEx. Larger rugs are shipped via Freight.
How do I track my order?
You can track your order by contact us via email, phone or live chat. Once your order has shipped you will receive the necessary tracking information by email.
Can I refuse delivery of my rug?
Yes, you can refuse to accept the rug. However, keep in mind that if the rug is new and in perfect condition you will be responsible for all associated shipment fees. We recommend checking the rug upon delivery. Should the rug be damaged, you can choose to refuse delivery and we will take care of an return shipping fees.
What is your return policy?
We have a 30-day return policy, no questions asked. We ask that you inform us regarding the return 48 hours after receiving your rug. You can contact us by calling, emailing us or by chatting with us on our live chat.

Who pays if I decide to return the item?
We take care of everything, except for return fees. Should you choose to return the rug, you will have to pay shipment fees and restocking fees should there be any.

What if the rug is damaged when I get it?
We ensure all rugs are in perfect condition before they are shipped. If however the rug you receive is damage, we ask that you refused delivery. This will send the rug back to us and we'll get you a new one in no time.
